Anna is an inspector for the Planning & Building Standards Department. Her job today is to inspect an extension to a commercial
property, but instead of good workmanship, she finds that the contractor has been cutting corners to save money. She is on her
phone reporting that she won't be able to approve the work, but before she can say anything more, a masked man comes up behind her
and presses a cloth over her mouth to chloroform her. Anna struggles, dropping her note book and cellphone as she slips away and
slides to the floor. The masked man drags her over to the wall and secures her wrists together behind one of the studs using a zip
tie. He ties her body to the stud, then binds her ankles together. Anna comes around and starts to object, her mind still foggy so
she hardly seems to know what is happening. Her assailant says that they will be filling a foundation hole with concrete later that
day, and that Anna will be in it. He leaves her alone, and after her initial, futile struggles to get her wrists out of the zip tie,
she uses her feet to pull on a drop cloth upon which her cellphone landed. She slowly pulls the phone towards her, but can't reach it.
She keeps working the phone closer with her feet and finally gets it close enough for her fingers to reach. Now if she can only punch
in 911 and get someone to hear her through the layers of gorilla duct tape sealing her mouth...

is added around Anna's waist and arms (on screen) to further restrict her movements, and the result holds her in place without the slightest
hope of escape. Now her captor has peace at last and can get on with other work while Anna sits there nicely trussed up and out of mischief.

takes the precaution of tying her feet together between carrying her indoors, then dragging her across the carpet to
the middle of the room. He sits Anna on a chair, now ungagged, and secures her to the chair back with ropes. When she
is secure, he calls her boyfriend and clamps a hand over Anna's mouth to muffle her cries. He warns the boyfriend that
he has just six hours to make the payment before something very bad happens to his girlfriend and he never sees her
again. He holds the phone to Anna's head and she demands to know from her boyfriend what the hell is going on. A hand
is clamped over her mouth again as the money lender concludes the conversation. Now all they can do is wait. To shut
Anna up in the meantime, the money lender gags her with duct tape and presses it down hard. Anna struggles but she cannot
get free this time and will just have to hope that her boyfriend pays up.

to and again think of leaving. Anna then notices that Carissa is coming back too, so the girls repeat their ploy, capturing the second

their bonds, trying to free one another, but before they can succeed they hear an approaching siren. A minutes later, police burst into

our unsuspecting superheroine's nose and mouth.
The Violet Avenger wakes to find herself tied to a pole in the basement, ropes coiled around her ankles, knees, thighs, waist and shoulders.
Her captor has also tied a ball gag in her mouth, rendering her literally speechless. She struggles with her bonds, but before she can make
any progress, her captor arrives to remove her mask and her utility belt, exposing her identity. He takes pleasure in explaining to her that
the story about stolen data published on the Internet was merely a ruse to lure her out. Now he has her captured, and his boss will soon arrive
to take care of her. Left alone again, The Violet Avenger continues to struggle with the ropes holding her, but they are too tight and she can't
get free. Her captor returns again, saying that his boss has arrived but he does not want the avenger to see his face. Anna is then blindfolded
and left alone to await her fate. Right at the end, her captor returns for the final time, a rag and a bottle of clear liquid in his hands. He
douses the rag and presses it over his prisoner's nose and mouth, making her sleep for the second time, ready for transportation.

louder and louder until she starts screaming for help. That's it as far as her captor is concerned; he goes away

Anna refuses to open her mouth so he forces it open, quickly stuffing the cloth between her teeth and deep into
her mouth before quickly applying the duct tape - this he wraps around her face and neck five times, pulling it

to grab at her ankles. Her captor jumps from the vehicle and drags her round to the back where he places her inside
the vehicle, securing her ankles with a luggage elastic. In the second scene, we see Anna being carried in the
basement of the house and placed on a stool. Her bound hands are secured to the stool and then her captor sets about
tying her up very thoroughly, rope around her body, knees and ankles, binding her to the stool. Finally, he goes to
get is phone and calls Anna's husband once more, threatening that this is his last chance if he ever wants to see his
wife again. He allows Anna to talk for a few seconds, and when the call is over he gags her with three strips of
gorilla-strength duct tape. Anna again struggles with her bonds, but this time she can't get any of them loose. All
she can do is wait and hope that the ransom will be paid.

her lover is still on the premises. In a panic, Anna runs after him, all the while trying to reason with him.
He marches her back to the living room where he cleave gags her and ties her ankles together with a strip of
cloth to stop her following him. With her secure, he retrieves his pistol and tells Anna that if "lover boy"
is hiding, he'll find him. Anna struggles frantically to get free, but before she succeeds, she hears two shots

threatens her and says he will let her live for now while he digs a grave in the woods for the body downstairs,

Anna fights with the ropes without making any progress, then she notices that she has left her cellphone on
the table. She inches her way over to it, keys in 911 and then issues muffled cries through her gag to raise
the alarm. All she can do now is wait and hope that help will arrive before her crazed husband returns. The
movie ends with Anna hearing the sound of a police siren approaching. The cops stop outside, and moments later
there is a loud rapping on the front door, following by a voice shouting: "This is the police! Open up!"
