Kate is an investigator looking into a man she believes to be a criminal. Pulled off another job at short notice and not even given time to change, she is told to keep the man's property under surveillance. She sees the man leave and decides to reconoitre the house, entering it illegally. Once inside, she finds an ankle cuff attached to a chain, and in that moment, she knows this is definitely the guy they have been looking for. She starts searching through cupboards and drawers, looking for anything incriminating. Finally, come opens a drawer and accidentally triggers a trap. Gas is sprayed out at whomever opens it, and Kate inhales a lungful. She feels the effects almost immediately and begins to stagger, losing her sense of balance. She drops to her knees, then falls to the floor unconscious. When she recovers, she finds herself tied to a chair. As realization of her predicament dawns on her, she begins to struggle. The ropes are tight and numerous. Escape looks improbably. The man she has been watching enters the room and demands to know what she was doing in his house. She tells him to fuck himself, which earns her a cleave gag. Kate struggles after she is left alone again, but she can't free her hands, and without them, there is nothing she can do to untie herself. After a time, the man returns and says that he can't keep her in the house, and decides to take her outside. He makes her walk to her car and remove her dress before climbing into the passenger's side of the vehicle. Kate has her wrists cuffed together behind the back of the seat, and her ankles are shackled and hooked to a bar under the seat. Tape gagged now, Kate cannot object to being left in this state, almost completely naked in a very hot car, with no choice but to wait until one of her colleagues comes looking for her.
