Clips4Sale and their membership promise

For those of you who use Clips4Sale and created an account with them, they made the promise a few years ago that all of your purchases would be available in your account, for streaming and download. Their subsequent polices have created a bit of problem with this. If a clip is now considered to not comply with their regulations, they will delete it from their site. That means it will also vanish from your library of purchases. I gather from a few of the models that customers are sending them irate messages about clips disappearing from their C4S accounts, when of course models/producers have no control over what is removed by C4S. It seems that many people on the outside have no idea what is going on. All the more reason to store your purchases yourself and don't rely on streaming.

If you are someone who worries about others finding your videos, get yourself a storage device which is really compact and easy to hide. I would recommend a solid state drive from Western Digital. I use these to store my data and my libraries of finished videos. They're expensive I'm afraid, but even a 2 TB one would probably solve all your storage problems indefinitely. Because they are solid state (no moving parts), they are far less likely to fail than a normal backup drive, and as mentioned, they are very small. Just a thought.

I already have a hard drive with all your content backed up on it. And other studios of course. Too easy to lose access to an account or for a site to remove your access to downloads!
