Alba confronts her boss over some shady transactions she has unearthed in the company's financial records. Despite being asked to just ignore these irregularities, for the good of everyone, Alba insists that she simply can't turn a blind eye. Her boss decides he will have to take her out of circulation until he and those aiding his illicit activities can make arrangements to leave the country. Alba realizes she has made a mistake confronting him alone, and knows she is now in trouble. In the basement of his house, the boss handcuffs her to an overhead beam secures her legs together using a zip tie. To make sure she doesn't make too much noise, Alba is also gagged her with duct tape. and tells her he has to go out for a while to start making arrangements for his departure, promising to return later to check on her. After he leaves, Alba struggles against her restraints but there is no way out of her situation.
