Rachel plans to audition for a role in an upcoming project which involves playing the role of a hostage. The director wants to find out if she is made of the right stuff for his character, and puts her through a series of different bondage ties ahead of the official audition to see how well she copes with being restrained. What she does not realize is that the director's girlfriend is also up for the part, and he wants to make sure Rachel will not be present to compete. However, Rachel proves herself to be extremely good at getting out of the rope restraints, so by the time they get to the third and final test, the director decides to use metal cuffs on wrists and ankles to make sure she will not get out this time. Only then does he break it to her that she was never going to get the part, and now she will have to stay here until the audition is over. To keep her quiet, he applies a bit gag before departing, leaving Rachel to struggle in a seemingly hopeless situation. He will learn later that he might just have underestimated her.
